This is the exciting ‘just moved in halfway through the year’ look. This is what I’ve observed:

• Implement lots of structure. Eventually they will stop talking all the time and focus will improve. I hope!
• It’s a team effort – colleagues have been amazing and given me time.
• Look beyond what you can see. There are so many issues behind what a child exhibits. Try to understand.
• Be humble and see how your experience can better your new culture. Don’t rush.
• Technology can improve all learning, the challenge of minimal budget and equipment is a challenge accepted.
