Wow. And so ends another outstanding conference led by @21cl @rethinkinglearn 2018. It has been a hectic but fascinating few months leading up and during #RTL18. You can see my thoughts and impressions on Twitter @mrtmullins but I want to give a special thanks to @davecaleb @kimcofino @bensheridan @MrMillwardTES and @MrPrest0n for their support and ideas over the last few months and supporting me in presenting and sharing my journey. Beginning this blog and tapping into the bountiful ideas and collaboration through Twitter has evidently had an effect on the learning of my students and hopefully can impact the future of our school through #EdEtechTES.

A few key highlights from #RTL18 include:

• Challenging learning approaches from #conceptbasedlearning with @carlamarschall through to #blendedlearning with @amichetti and kmikulka. I need to ask myself how these can impact and improve my current approach?
• Taking away immediate and practical tips to use tools such as #flipgrid #desmos #padlet #readandwrite and #EquatIO from @gregoconnor and @cecigomez_g. How can I improve my use of these and include them more to improve students learning?
• The passion of @steve_leinwand to engage students through #questions and #convincing was inspiring and should truly kick any tired and weary teacher back into gear! #So? Let’s get get started then!
• Considering how to make feedback way more #effective and #purposeful fitted right into my way of thinking and reiterated to me how we can not only make our lives easier but students learning better! @Elfdaws

Finally, a big thanks to @rethinkinglearn for allowing me to share my experiences of @seesaw and @plickers. It was so empowering and encouraging to see so many educators keen to learn and help our students’ education move forward! Get yourself there next year!
