OUTCOME: Feedback is certainly a buzz-word in schools at the moment, ‘Are my students progressing when using my feedback?’, ‘How can I encourage students to offer feedback to others and offer constructive criticism?

Recently, I’ve given more structure to my ‘Seesaw O’Clock’ time where student will use the anchor chart above to help create questions or responses which are precise and useful. Being focused is key and as you can see below, the structure is paying off.

NEXT STEP: I’m currently working on using Seesaw as an effective tool for student’s to self assess their fluency and mark key information in texts by recording their reading.

DREAM: Students to independently choose to use their anchor charts to offer feedback to their peers thereby showing their own understanding or self assessing in order to edit their work and recognise strengths or areas of improvement.

If I and @Seesaw can provide students with the tools to self-improve and to not rely upon the teacher’s feedback then they will be much more ready for the world to come!
